    Palermo: Zamparini refuses Iachini's resignation

Palermo have put on hold talks to appoint Davide Ballardini as their new coach as the club's president Maurizio Zamparini has refused Giuspppe Iachini's resignation.

Below you can find a round-up of what happened today into the Rosanero's control room.

Cm.com can exclusively reveal Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini will meet Davide Ballardini in Milan tonight to offer him the Rosanero job again as the Italian tactician had already coached the team for eight games this term.

CM.com’s Daniele Longo reports that the meeting is scheduled for 9.30 pm (Italy time) and Zamparini is expected to offer Ballardini a contract running until the end of the season (optimist!) and a huge bonus in case he’ll manage to achieve Serie A survival.

In addition, Ballardini will be given the chance to bring his staff, which is already under contract with the Rosanero, while Enzo Maresca and Stefano Sorrentino (who had harshly criticized Ballardini during his previous reign at the Renzo Barbera) are expected to be left out of squad for the remainder of the season.

But why did Zamp decided to fire Iachini after only two games in charge?
The duo met this afternoon with Zamp who reportedly asked the manager to change the team’s system and style of play. Iachini rejected and wrote down a resignation letter that Zamparini seemed willing to accept earlier today.
