Netto successo del Liverpool, che raggiunge i quarti di FA Cup grazie all'incredibile 6-1 rifilato al Brighton & Hove Albion. Deludente invece il Tottenham, che in casa del modesto Stevenage (terza divisione), non va oltre lo 0-0 e rischia addirittura la sconfitta. Agevole successo per lo Stoke City sul campo del Crawley.
