Monaco’s defensive midfield star Fabinho continues to talk openly about a possible summer move to Manchester United. Having worked briefly with him at Real Madrid, the 2016-17 Ligue 1 title winner was asked if he’d like to play under him once again to which he replied; “He is an excellent manager. No doubt. I would also like to work with great managers to learn more about football, learn new things. There are great managers in football”.

With the 2018 World Cup coming on to the horizon, Fabinho was in no doubt about his goal for the next 12 months when he declared that; “My dream is to get to the national team, get steady, play the 2018 World Cup and at club level it’s to get to a big club that fights to always be champion, with champion mentality. It could be in Spain, England, France. I want to play for a club that fights to win the Champions League title. That’s what I’ll keep seeking."
