Felipe Anderson: it was easy to leave Lazio and say yes to West Ham
Felipe Anderson has given an interview to Daily Mail in which he speaks about the decision of leaving Lazio to join West Ham.
Felipe Anderson has told the Daily Mail that as soon as he learned of West Ham United’s interest it meant that it was an easy decision for him to leave Lazio. West Ham broke their transfer record on Anderson this summer, paying £40 million for the attacker. And, at the time, the Brazilian was very much an in-demand player.
“What I was really looking for was for a project and a team that believed in me 100 per cent, - Anderson said -. That's what I found with West Ham. The coach always supported me and still supports me. When I found out it was West Ham who had an interest in me, it was an easy decision. I had no difficulty in saying yes. I knew about the traditions. That's why I wanted to come here”.
