    Official: Fininvest and the Chinese : 'Milan, in the coming days there will be other verifications made'

    Closing or no Closing that's the question. Fininvest and Sino-Europe Sports released a joint statement confirming that there has been a meeting between both parties : " Today, Fininvest and it's consultants met with the advisors of Sino-Europe Sports as talks continued concerning the entire sale of AC Milan. The verification of financial and societary aspects were the topics of the day. This meeting was positive and constructive for both sides. Fininvest and SES have agreed to meet again next week".

    Here is what Milan president Silvio Berlusconi had to say on the matter as he spoke with Corriere della Sera : "I  think it is all going as expected. Let's hope it all goes well as the Chinese consortium are an important group who love Milan and are Milan fans. Let's not also forget that in China, Milan have 243 million fans. I believe that they will be able to make the necessary investments to bring Milan back to the top, something that I couldn't do anymore".
