Fiorentina confirm midfield star wants Inter move
Talking to assembled media outside Fiorentina training ground in Florence, Corvino said: “I’ve talked to the player and he has told me that he wants to move to Inter, so we’ve already begun negotiations.”
“I’ve asked him if he wants to move to Roma or China but he said that he only wants to move to Inter. He was honest and negotiations with Inter have just begun. He wants to move there and there is nothing we can do about it.”
“He won’t join the rest of the team in Moena [where Fiorentina pre-season training camp will be held] if we reach quick agreement with Inter.” The former Villereal star is then set to finally join Luciano Spalletti who wanted to sign him at Roma last summer to replace Miralem Pjanic.
