Fiorentina propose Gomez-Tello swap deal to Barcelona
The Spanish winger spent the last six months on loan at the Franchi and Fiorentina want him back at the club after failing to sign the winger on a permanent deal for € 7 million at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
Fiorentina’s offre would be in line with Luis Enrique’s requests who is looking for a back-up to Luis Suarez. Trouble is, Gomez’s salary is set to € 5 million a year and Barcelona don’t want to spend as much for a 31-year-old striker.
Gomez’s performances during his two year spell at Fiorentina were highly disappointed, though he recovered his best for last season scoring 26 goals in 33 league games with Besiktas.
The German striker has refused to move to the Turkish club to permanent deal.
