Ahead of his sides Europa League tie against PAOK Salonika, Fiorentina coach Paulo Sousa has astonished reporters by claiming that striker Federico Bernardeschi deserves to play somewhere other than the Tuscan club. Asked about comments he made on Sunday he explained that; “I wanted to say what I said. Bernardeschi has so much quality that will take him to a club with more ambition than Fiorentina”.
 

The 22-year-old is wanted by a host of clubs with Premier League club Chelsea recently expressing their interest with coach Antonio Conte a huge admirer of the Italian international. Despite the player also recently stating that he was thinking of committing his future to La Viola, it’s unlikely that the club would be able to resist a big money offer from elsewhere.  

Both Milan and Inter have been following the situation with interest but it’s unlikely that Bernardeschi would want to play for another Italian club after expressing his love of Fiorentina.
