According to transfer analyst Alfredo Pedulla, Milan have made their first official contacts for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata. The budget for the Rossoneri for the Spaniard is thought to be in the 65-70 million EUR range, with also Belotti and Aubameyang on their wish list. Milan directors will be moving frantically over the next few days to tie down the forward of their choice, with alternate reports having Montella leaning towards Fiorentina’s Kalinic.

Milan directors will hope for a smooth clear deal, with minimal negotiations. Thus far, their transfer strategy has been well thought out and very definitive. Execution on their ideas has been one of their strengths over the past month, and as preseason is already underway, Montella will want to have his new players in as soon as possible.

Ex Juventus player Morata, had been linked to a Serie A return in the past, notably with Napoli chasing the striker. At that time, his allegiance to the Bianconeri immediately ended those talks, but the new look Milan offers a different project that could possibly boost anyone’s career. The will of the player is yet to be totally revealed, but a move to a club that can offer a starting role will be enticing.
