Former Barcelona president Josep Lluís Núñez dies at the age of 87

Josep Lluís Núñez Clemente, the longest-serving president in the history of Barcelona, who remained in office for 22 years, has died at the age of 87, a victim of a cruel illness.

Núñez picked up a club stuck in the nostalgia of better times and with a large economic debt, which was financed mainly through the membership fees of its members, and transformed it into a healthy entity, which became successful and once again won many titles.
