Former Chelsea star agrees Inter terms

Inter are close to signing former Chelsea star Ramires, according to a report of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as quoted by calciomercato). The Brazilian is contracted with Jiangsu Suning, a Chinese club owned by Suning Group, the giants that bought a majority stake in Inter one year ago.

Suning have agreed to sell the player to Inter on loan and Ramires has also agreed terms with the nerazzurri side. There are no missing piece and the player is ready to join the Serie A giants in November (but he will only be eligible from January).

The Italian paper, however, claims Inter will take a few more weeks to decide whether to sign the player or not. The Serie A giants, in fact, have only one slot for non EU players left and they want to have another look around Europe to see if there is any top player who could join the San Siro at the end of the season.

If Inter won’t find any other extra-EU player to sign, they will be signing Ramires on loan in the coming weeks.
