Former Juventus star Pogba: 'Man United wanted me back'
"I came back because I wanted to and United showed that they wanted me back," Pogba told the Manchester Evening News following France’s 3-1 friendly win over Italy in Bari.
"We have a good team who wants to win the league again with a big manager, top players and a new team. My ambition is always to be No.1, to always be the best.
Pogba shined in his first two Premier League appearances for the Red Devils, dribbling players with aplomb against Southampton and playing well in Saturday’s narrow win over Hull city.
Manchester United’s Champions League ambitions were also mentioned.
"We want to go back to the Champions League because I know that's where we belong," he continued.
