Former Roma and Juventus defenders Angelo Ogbonna and Antonio Rudiger both played important roles in West Ham and Chelsea's progression to the 5th round in the League Cup yesterday,

The former Juventus and Torino defender Angelo Ogbonna scored the winning goal for West Ham in the Irons impressive comeback from being 2 goals down away against Tottenham to win 3-2. German international defender Antonio Rudiger broke the deadlock when Chelsea beat Everton at home at Stamford Bridge by 2 goals to 1, with Willian and Domenic Calvert-Lewin also getting on the scoresheet for Chelsea and Everton respectively.
