Former Spurs centre-back Fazio holds first press conference as Roma player
“I’ve always dreamt of playing Serie A football. I am lucky enough to play for AS Roma, it’s a dream come true for me. I am looking forward to playing in front of our fans.”
AS Roma will face Porto in the Champions League play-off stage next week and the Argentinean defender was asked whether AS Roma can make it through the group stages of Europe’s elite tournament.
“It’s going to be a tough meeting, it will last 180 minutes and we’ll have to take the best out of us. It’s important to start with the right step in the Champions League. We know how important it is to play the first game away and the second one at home, we can allow no goals, we have to be solid.”
