Major daily A Bola claim that the Bianconeri are scouting Ricardo Pereira again, the 23-year-old having impressed on loan to OGC Nice in France.
The Ligue 1’s current leaders have helped relaunch the Portuguese national’s career, his forays on the right helping the Gym to fourth place last year, and first place in this season’s championship.
Pereira had, we can confirm, long been in Juventus’ sights, but fell off their radar when it became apparent that he wasn’t playing much at Porto.
The youngster has played ten Ligue 1 games this season, scoring once, but is going to be expensive, as Porto players often are.
A Bola remind us that he’ll fetch something in the region of €25 million. Juventus are looking for alternatives at right-back (Pereira can also play on the left wing), seeing as Dani Alves isn’t young, and Stephan Lichtsteiner was left disillusioned by the Brazilian’s arrival.
