Reports from Spain this morning state that Liverpool and Roma are locked in a battle to sign Barcelona midfielder Rafinha. The 24-year-old, who missed large parts of last season due to a knee injury, is set to leave the Camp Nou this summer and according to Gerard Romero, who works for Catalan radio station Moguts pel Barca, the player is the subject of a two-way fight for his signature.
 

Romero posted on twitter that there had been “two interesting proposals” from the aforementioned clubs for the Brazilian international whilst Transfermarkt reports that he would cost somewhere in the region of £13M.
