Gareth Bales suggests Real Madrid should sign Dele Alli

Gareth Bale has told Real Madrid that they should snap up Tottenham Hotspur superstar Dele Alli this window, according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol via the Daily Star.

Alli arguably enjoyed his best season last season, scoring 22 goals and providing 13 assists for the Lilywhites, as they amounted an impressive title challenge, just falling short to the dominance of the eventual Premier League winners Chelsea.

Diario Gol claim that the Welsh international – who broke the world record transfer fee when he moved from Spurs to Real for a whopping £85.3 million (€100 million) in 2013 – said that he would like the England international at the Santiago Bernabéu because he would have another English speaking player on the team.

The publication go on to report that the 27-year-old winger regards Alli’s last season as a better one that Bale’s teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
