How Inter will be at a loss when Fabregas leaves Chelsea for Monaco

Serie A giants Inter Milan will be dealt a blow, no matter what Chelsea do when Cesc Fabregas leaves Stamford Bridge to join Monaco this month.

While the Spaniard is known to be close to a move to the French giants, he is currently undergoing at medical at Stade Louis II. But what will happen after that isn't something positive for the nerazzurri.

Chelsea are considering one of Nicolo Barella or Leandro Paredes as replacements for Fabregas and they could well get one of them this month. But Inter would be left frustrated by this since they are players the nerazzurri have been after for the last few months.

It is said that Inter are still looking to trump Chelsea in the race for Barella, as they too are looking to bolster their midfielder but can't spend as much as Chelsea can because of the Financial Fair Play restrictions imposed on them by UEFA.

Same is the case with Paredes. While they have previously been in contact with the former Roma star, they will struggle to make a move for him this month.

With Corriere dello Sport confident that one of them could end up at Stamford Bridge this month, it will be a loss to Inter. They could sign the other in the summer, but its still not known who Chelsea's first choice to replace Fabregas is.
