‘I dream of joining a big club’: Serie A starlet open to AC Milan move

AC Milan are among the clubs interested in signing Atalanta starlet Andrea Conti who did impose himself as one of the best right-backs in Serie A, so much so the rossoneri are chasing him alongside Chelsea, Inter, Napoli and AS Roma.

The 23-year-old has eight goals and five assists in 35 appearances in all competitions this season and Atalanta are reported to have demanded € 25 million to sign him.
AC Milan have reportedly offered € 15 million to sign the Italian who held a press conference in Coverciano today on the first of Italy’s training camp for emerging players.

Our reporter Lorenzo Bettoni was in Coverciano to report the press conferences of both Conti and Caldara.

“Atalanta are like a family to me but I dream of joining a big club”, Conti said.

“On the one hand I’ve spent 15 years at Atalanta and I am feeling at home here. On the other hand, I’d like to try a new experience in a big club. Let’s see what will happen in the transfer market. I’ll take a decision in July after the U21 European championship.”
