Mario Icardi spoke to La Nacion recently, telling the Argentine newspaper  that he is more valued in Italy ("100 to 0!") and that the Argentine press still talks about his relationship with Wanda Nara, who was widely believed to have cheated with Icardi behind husband Maxi Lopez's back. 

Lopez was Icardi's team-mate at Sampdoria at the time. 

Icardi has, however, issued a firm rebuttal of this version of events:

"I didn't tempt her away: we were friends, like I'm friends with 25 people who will still be that next year.

"We ate an asado (a barbecue) together as fellow Argentines, then nothing.
