Immobile slams 'unacceptable' first half performance as Lazio fight back to draw with Atalanta

Lazio striker Ciro Immobile scored twice from the penalty spot in the second half of the Biancocelesti's 3-3 draw with Atalanta this afternoon, as Simone Inzaghi's side fought back from 3-0 down at half-time to come away from the Stadio Olimpico with a point.

Speaking after the game, Immobile said that: 'Does this draw count as a victory? Yes, we are happy with the second half and our reaction, but the first half was unacceptable: a totally wrong approach. We must always play like the second half. Recovering three goals gives you an extra spark.

'Reaction in the locker room? A few words, little silence, we looked into each other's eyes. There was no need to lower our head, but to raise it! In the second half we entered the field motivated, stronger. And then the coach was good at keeping us quiet without raising his voice.'
