Incredible: Ex-Milan star Robinho sentenced to 9 years in prison for sexual assault

According to Italian news site Ansa, it seems like ex-Milan and Manchester City forward Robinho has been found guilty of gang rape. This event occured back in 2013 in a Milanese discotheque. The Brazilian star is currently playing for Atletico Mineiro as he has been sentenced to 9 years in prison. This is what the Tribunal in Milano decided as he and 5 other individuals have been found guilty of rape towards a young Albanian girl (23 years old at the time).

Robinho will surely appeal this decision as time will likely be cut off. The appeal process will likely soon begin as Robinho's image has certainly taken a big knock. He is married to Vivian Guglielmetti since 2009 as they have two children (Gianluca and Robson junior).
