Iniesta openly backs Coutinho to join Barcelona
The La Liga giants are set to face Real Madrid in El Clasico clash this coming Saturday, but Iniesta hopes this won’t be his last game against the Merengues: “I hope it’s not the last Clasico for me but it’s hard to say what will happen in the future.”
“I’m totally focused on Barcelona, it’s not time to think about the future now, I’m not going to take any decision about my future now, there is a time for everything.”
“Coutinho? He is a great footballer, a top class star. He is very good with both feet, he scores goals, he provides assists, he really helps everybody in the team. His profile is similar to ours’ it would be an amazing singing by the club. I would see no competition with him, I’d be happy because all I care about is the club’s good.”
