Inter add €40m Chelsea star to summer shopping list

Inter are looking to strengthen their midfield and according to Il Corriere dello Sport, they have set sights on Chelsea star Nemanja Matic who is tipped to leave the Stamford Bridge in the summer if Tiemoue Bakayoko finally joins the Premier League giants.

The Italian paper claims Matic won’t be joining Manchester United as the Blues are not open to listen to any offer coming from the Old Trafford after that the Red Devils have hijacked Romelu Lukaku’s bid, stealing the Belgian from under Chelsea’s noses.

Matic could be leaving Chelsea for € 40 million and the nerazzurri are reportedly considering a summer bid for the 28-year-old. The Serbian midfielder is also being linked with a move to Juventus as Max Allegri is a long time target of the former Benfica star.

Inter have also set their sights on Sevilla star Steven N’Zonzi who has a € 40 million release clause and Fiorentina’s Matias Vecino whose € 24 million release clause expires on the 10th of August.
