Inter chase PSG defender, liked by Liverpool
The Paris Saint-Germain defender may have hoped that Marquinhos would leave this summer (Barcelona and Manchester United liked him), so that he could get more starting time.
With the Brazilian pairing of Motta and Marquinhos still very much operational, however, Kimpembe could be looking for another club, and Liverpool and Inter are at the top of the list.
Linked to him about a month ago, Inter Milan are an interesting candidate, seeing as they need central defenders and look set to off centre-back Murillo to Valencia.
The defender - who ended up making 27 appearances last season - also said that he didn’t feel like he should wear the Number 3 jersey, because “the way I see things, I’m always someone who is looking for more [playing time] and, for me, there are no numbers”.
The 21-year-old started 19 games in Ligue 1 for PSG last season.
