However, when a youngster impresses as the Slovakian international has done, it subsequently leads to interest from elsewhere with Mundo Deportivo reporting that he is on the list of defensive targets for Barcelona.
The Catalan giants are said to be preparing to sign two defenders next summer, with the likes of Kalidou Kouliably, Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt forming the rest of their shortlist.
Spalletti will undoubtedly be desperate to keep hold of the former Sampdoria ace, as he has already proven to be a wise acquisition and will continue to mature and improve with experience.
Inter have started the season in impressive fashion as a whole as they remain unbeaten and sit just two points adrift of leaders Napoli. In turn, they won’t want to see any of their current group leave any time soon.
