Mourinho, Man United set sights on Inter stalwart Miranda, Bayern in hunt too

With Inter's financial situation far from rosy, could the Nerazzurri be considering a departure or two this summer, just to make sure they balance the books? The Beneamata knows that Joao Miranda is one of Europe's most sought-after defenders, with Manchester United and Bayern Munich both reported to have asked after the Brazilian.

Jose Mourinho's recent visit to Italy also raised some eyebrows, as he was known to want Miranda back when he was at Chelsea.

Inter paid 4 million for Miranda when they bought him from Atletico, with an 11 million buyback obligatory clause set at 11 million in 2017. Were someone to offer more than 20, Inter would be tempted.

Who would Inter replace the Brazilian captain with? How about Mateo Musacchio, the Villareal defender who has recently recovered from a fractured fibula. Back for the Yellow Submarine as of last December, he is the kind of player Inter are ready to make an offer for if they sell Miranda.
