Inter director: no Man United offer for Perisic

Inter claim that Manchester United have yet to make an offer for Ivan Perisic.

Speaking to Sky Italia, sporting director Walter Sabatini claimed that the Red Devils had yet to make a bid for the 28-year-old.

“What is this, a conspiracy?,” he said. “You all know what we want. The offer has yet to arrive”.

The scorer of eleven goals last season, the Croatian star has caught Jose Mourinho’s eye, but the Nerazzurri won’t let him go for less than 55 million.

The Premier League side has, so far, not offered more than 45-50m.

Sabatini has also had words about other players, Inter targets Patrik Shick and Matias Vecino.

“Did I like Schick when I was at Roma? We all loved him…”

The 22-year-old has had heart problems, enough to cancel a possible move to Juventus. “I can’t talk about privately, only at press conferences. And he’s a talent, anyway, not an Inter player.

“Everything [in the talks] is missing. I don’t think we’ll talk to his agents.”

On Vecino, the director claimed that “there’s still something to do”.
