Inter: duel with Roma for Rossi; idea Basta. AC Milan: interest for Cigarini confirmed
As reported the other day, Inter Milan are interested in Atletico Nacional 19 year old midfielder Juan Fernando Quintero, actually on loan at Pescara, but to obtain the Colombia national the nerazzurri will have to compete, according to Sky transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, with Paris Saint-Germain. And also in the hunt for another one of its targets, Villarreal 25 year old forward Giuseppe Rossi, the Lombard club seems to have many competitors, AS Roma in particular. Inter are also seeking a right back, and, in addition to Arsenal 29 year old Bacary Sagna, are also thinking about Udinese 28 year old Dušan Basta. The Serbia national, whose contract with the Friulan club will expire in 2016, could join the nerazzurri next Summer.
As sublined today, AC Milan are seeking a high-skilled midfielder, and a valid option could be Napoli 26 year old Luca Cigarini, actually on loan at Atalanta. Interviewed by Itasportpress, Giovanni Bia, agent of the former FC Seville player, has confirmed that the rossoneri are interested in his client, although Atalanta could try to sign him on permanent deal and that in any case the final decision is up to Napoli. Regarding the defense, Genoa 25 year old left back Luca Antonelli seems always closer to Milan, that he should join in January.
Finally, both the Milanese clubs could take advance of the situation of 31 year old defender Ashley Cole, who is not finding an agreement to extend his deal with Chelsea, actually expiring in June 2013.
