Inter fine Icardi for late arrival in Milan

Inter have fined Mauro Icardi for turning up late for yesterday’s training. The first one of the year at the Suning Center. The Argentinean striker didn’t show up at Inter’s training ground as he had issues with his return flights from his native country.

According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, the board of the Nerazzurri was highly disappointed by Icardi’s late arrival in the city. The player was supposed to be training alongside the rest of his team-mates and although he advised Inter in advance about his issues with the flights, Inter decided to fine him.

After Radja Nainggolan, another Inter star is fined for his behavior. The Belgium star arrived late to several training sessions and was fined once Marotta took over at the San Siro.

According to reports in the UK, Chelsea are strongly interested in signing Icardi in the January transfer window although his € 110 million clause is not valid this month but only in July.
