Inter given hope in chase of Arsenal star

Inter are desperate to sign a new attacking midfielder in the winter transfer window and Mesut Ozil is one of those players to have been linked with a move to the San Siro.
The contract of the Germany International expires at the end of the season and British media confirm there is still no agreement between the two parties.

Ozil is likely to leave Arsenal as a free agent at the end of the season and that’s why the Gunners are seeking for potential investors who want to sing the former Real Madrid star before the end of the season.

The January window will be the last opportunity Arsenal have to rack up some cash from the sale of the 29-year-old.

Inter Director of Football Piero Ausilio said in the week-end that he does not believe players like Ozil will leave their clubs in January but the contract situation of the German puts his Arsenal future under serious threat and Inter may be tempted to make the most of it.
