Inter, Icardi deserves more money: earns less than Dzeko and Higuain

After Wanda Nara's statements about Mauro Icardi's situation at Inter, new rumours have popped up in regards to the Argentinian's future with the Nerazzurri, with the renewal talks seemingly stalling.

According to Icardi's agent and wife, Wanda Nara, the relationship between the striker and Inter is not as good as first thought: "Inter wanted to send him to Juve last summer, but Mauro said no",

Therefore, the renewal talks have certainly come into focus, with Nara also adding that Inter are yet to sit down and talk about a new contract. Comparing Icardi's current salary with other protagonists in Serie A, he earns less than most of them.

In fact, the likes of Dybala, Higuain, Dzeko, Pjanic, Bonucci and Insigne earn more, and arguably have less impact for their respective teams. With that said, also given Icardi's importance, €6m per year might not be enough for the Argentinian.

In many ways, Nara's declarations could be considered as a strategy to raise Inter's offer, though it also seems that the relationship with the club is far from as good as thought.
