Inter, Icardi plays down Real Madrid rumours

Inter star Mauro Icardi was awarded as the best player of the last season in Serie A. The Argentinean couldn’t hide his satisfaction for the award: “I want to do well with Inter. I was the best scorer in Serie A last season, now I want the trophies”, the Argentinean said.

The Argentinean has been linked with a move to Real Madrid but Icardi has no doubts about his future: “I’ve always proved my love for Inter and for these fans. I want to thank, Ausilio Gardini and the president who want to keep me here.”

Inter are set to face Juventus on Friday night: “Dybala is a friend of mine. We spoke before, Friday’s game will be a big one.”
