Inter looking to the future - Ozil, Ramires, Pastore & Vidal: the situation
- Nima Tavallaey Roodsari
The Nerazzurri are however looking to strengthen the team despite the positive start to the season, especially in midfield. Inter's interest in Arsenal's Mesut Ozil has cooled off despite the fact that the German international is a free agent in the summer, mainly due to the high wages he would command. Inter's real target is PSG's Javier Pastore but the chances of signign him in January are very slim because the French Ligue 1 outfit are very reluctant to part ways with the former Palermo player.
The same applies to Bayern Munich's Chilean international midfielder Arturo Vidal given the financial undertaking such a deal would require. This is why Walter Sabatini and Piero Ausilio are looking at other names such as Lille's Bissouma, as well as former Chelsea midfielder Ramires. The Brazilian currently plays for Inter's sister club Jiangsu Suning and although the Suning do not wish to destabilize Jiangsu they are willing to give Luciano Spalletti the option to evaluate him at the club's training grounds from November or December to check on his physical status.
