Inter Milan could have signed Cristiano Ronaldo before Man Utd

According to what has been reported by today’s edition of Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport, Cristiano Ronaldo could have been wearing Nerazzurri colours instead of Bianconeri. The paper reports that, whilst Ronaldo was at Sporting Lisbon, then-Nerazzurri forward Luisito Suarez proposed the Portuguese forward to Inter whilst he was in the Lisbon academy.

Suarez was reportedly interested in Ronaldo after he saw him score a goal akin to that of the Brazilian Ronaldo. Inter failed to move and a little while later, Manchester United signed him – the rest is history.
