Inter seeking a new summit regarding San Siro upgrades

According to our sources Inter Milan are increasingly concerned about the current state of the San Siro. The Suning Group have made the stadium one of their major priorities, as they seek answers on the projected upgrades which they deem necessary. Inter are seeking a meeting with the City of Milan in regards to the stadium which is shared with rivals AC Milan.

The group believe a more modern, and comfortable stadium is crucial to increasing attendance at games and is a key feature of their future plans for the club. Inter is targeting an average crowd of 50,000 spectators for every home game which is achievable. However Inter have struggled to attract the 60,000 fans that witness their historic treble in 2010/2011 under Jose Mourinho.

Inter have sold close to 160,000 tickets to their games against Fiorentina, Spal and Genoa – a noted increase over last season. This already impressive attendance is what is urging the Suning group to call this meeting as they aim to create an impressive home crowd atmosphere that befits the status of the club.
