Inter news, Cedric Soares unlikely to join permanently

It now seems highly unlikely that Inter will look to make Cedric Soares’ loan move from Southampton permanent, and his stay in Milan will be over in the summer. According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter will instead look to Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian.
Soares has only featured twice for Inter since joining in the January transfer window, and the club chiefs obviously do not feel he is the right man to provide cover at right-back for them. Soares was signed after a knee injury ended Sime Vrsaljko’s season.
