Inter may sign Brazilian starlet Lucas from Sao Paulo but will not sacrifice Diego Forlan. That was the message sent out by the club regarding one of recent transfer rumours.

Director Marco Branca travelled to Brazil but according to the Nerazzurri he was out there to complete the signing of Juan Jesus from Internacional. The defender has now been sent on loan to Novara.

Branca also underlined Inter’s interest in Lucas but Inter are unwilling to negotiate a part-exchange deal involving their Uruguayan star.
