Inter reject Man Utd’s improved bid for star winger

Inter have rejected Manchester United’s opening bid for Ivan Perisic, according to a report of Sky Sport in Italy.

The Croatian winger is a long time target of Joé Mourinho who wanted to sign the former Wolfsburg star on the cheap last month as Inter had to meet terms of Financial Fair Play sanctions. The Serie A giants, however, managed to rack up € 30 million by selling some of their youngsters so they could reject the Red Devils’ € 40 million offer.

It is understood that Man United have just tried to make an improved bid for the Croatian offering € 45 million to take him to the Old Trafford. Inter, however, believe the offer is still not enough and have rejected Manchester United’s second bid asking for € 55 million instead.

Meantime, the nerazzurri are still negotiating with OGC Nice for the signing of Dalbert, a Brazilian left-back who is being monitored by Liverpool as well.
