Inter, requested Napoli midfielder for Icardi exchange

According to Sportitalia, over the last few days Inter asked Napoli for one of their strikers in exchange for Mauro Icardi: Piotr Zielinski. However, President de Laurentiis declined. He doesn’t want to give up on the 25-year-old Polish midfielder. Zielinski has been with Napoli since 2016, after starting his career with Udinese. Last season the player made 49 appearances in all competitions for the Partenopei, scoring seven and assisting twice. Inter and Icardi will have to find a solution soon, considering the closure of the transfer window is approaching rapidly.
