Inter step up pursuit of former Juventus target Douglas Costa
Juventus are another Serie A club in for the 26-year-old but the problem they face is that they only have one available slot left for an E.U player. And, with the Turin side already interested in right-back Danilo from La Liga giants Real Madrid, they will most likely drop off their pursuit.
Inter will exploit this, as they have no trouble with regards to an E.U slot, but, moreover, they are prepared to satisfy the asking price for of the Brazilian international’s wages – an amount that equates to 5 million EUROS a year.
The asking price set by the reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern is 50 million EUROs, but for manager Luciano Spalletti, buying the player is a logical choice; especially with being faced with the possibility that Ivan Perisic could leave to Manchester United.
