Inter take final decision on Arsenal defender after starlet’s knee injury

Promising Inter defender Zinho Vanheusden has picked up a knee injury and will be forced out of action for several months. The Serie A giants have confirmed the injury of their starlet though their official website.

Zinho Vanheusden, 18, had just been promoted to senior Inter squad and the nerazzurri boss Luciano Spalletti is now short of options at the back as the likes of Joao Miranda, Milan Skriniar and Andrea Ranocchi are the only left-backs left at his disposal.
The Serie A giants had been linked with a summer move for Shrdoan Mustafi but failed to wrap up a deal with the Gunners.

According to our sources, Inter won’t make a new offer for Mustafi in January despite the injury of Vanheusden. The nerazzurri are not attracted by any particular player who is currently out of contract and will try to sign a new defender in January. Mustafi, however, is no more featuring in Inter shopping list.
