Inter to fine €50m Man Utd target for playing in a Beach Volleyball tournament

Inter are set to fine Ivan Perisic for participating in a beach volleyball tournament, according to the Bild.

Were he to have reached the final, he’d have missed the first days of the Nerazzurri’s summer training camp.

The Manchester United target has long been on the verge of leaving Inter, but the Nerazzurri won’t accept anything less than 50 million, despite the Croatian’s desire to leave.

This has left the former Wolfsburg man frustrated, but he’s chosen to take it out in the wrong way, participating in a professional beach tournament in Croatia.

Playing at the Porec tournament with partner Niksa Dell’Orco, the 28-year-old has drawn Inter’s wrath, considering that he was competing in a professional trophy, and for the obvious injury risk.

The Nerazzurri are ready to punish the winger, who scored eleven Serie A goals last season and made eight assists. This will range from a fine to an early showing at summer camp.

If Perisic were to stay at Inter, however, he will be rewarded with an improved deal, recognising his role as one of the squad’s most important players.
