Inter want €50m Man United target to make his mind up

Inter are open to letting go of Ivan Perisic if he isn’t interested in playing for them, if Coach Luciano Spalletti is an authority.

Speaking at a recent press conference, the new Nerazzurri Coach - who was hired in June to replace youth team Coach Stefano Vecchi - stated that he is counting on Perisic, but that he wants “to understand his intentions… it wouldn’t be nice to hear ‘I want to leave’.

We confirmed last night that Manchester United have yet to match Inter’s price for the 28-year-old, and are offering only €45 million, less than the €50m Inter want.

“I’ll talk to all the player and I’ll say something else to those who are ‘distracted’,” he confirmed. “I’ll listen to them.

“I have no doubt: I’m counting on him, but we need to understand his intentions.

It wouldn’t be nice for me to hear ‘I don’t want to stay’”.

“Either way, I’ll say this: we are Inter and we can make different decisions according to players’ wishes”.
