Time is running out for Claudio Ranieri at Inter. President Massimo Moratti is already considering a new project for the next season which will not include the current manager.

Luciano Spalletti and José Mourinho have already made it clear they are not interested, while Pep Guardiola will renew his contract with Barcelona and André Villas-Boas doesn’t fully satisfy the Nerazzurri.

So Walter Zenga could finally get the chance to run his beloved club. Inter believe he could be the right man for the job.

Since 2011, Zenga has been in charge of Dubai outfit Al Nasr and managed to get the team into the Asian Champions League. Now it is up to Moratti to give him a chance with the Nerazzurri.

    Xabi-Juve impossible

Xabi Alonso has been linked to Juventus lately but according to agent Inaki Ibanez, the Spanish player will stay at Real Madrid.

"I believe that a transfer from Real Madrid to Juventus would be impossible for my client,” Ibanez told Calciomercato.com.

“It isn’t about money but the fact that Xabi is really happy in Madrid and wouldn’t leave for any other club. He could also end his career at Real, although in football you never know. He has more than 2 years left in his contract.

“The Bianconeri did have a chance to sign him three years ago, but couldn’t complete the deal. I think that train went past...”

Juve close to Pogba but Milan...

Manchester United starlet Paul Pogba has been linked to both Juventus and Milan. The Bianconeri almost signed the French player who will be a free agent in June.

Pogba has already turned down an offer from Milan, which wanted to share his services with Genoa.

However, the Rossoneri won’t give up and are planning their next offer which agent Mino Raiola will certainly be happy to consider.

Peruzzi-Roma: Former Juventus and Roma goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi revealed he could have become a Giallorossi director. “I was in touch with Sabatini. There was a chance to be their Director of the Technical area. But unfortunately new things happened and now I am Ferrara’s assistant coach for the Italy U-21. Still my relationship with Sabatini is excellent,” explained Peruzzi.

Aronica tempted by Palermo: The Napoli defender, who played a key role in the win over Chelsea, revealed that he could be tempted to join Palermo at the end of the season. The Sicilian player has a contract expiring next June. “There is no problem regarding my contract which will be extended, but if Zamparini gave me a call I would be tempted to join the Rosanero,” said the defender.
