Italy players promised prize money if they qualify for the World Cup

According to La Stampa, FIGC president Carlo Tavecchio has promised a personal bonus for each and every Italy player should they qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. At the start of the campaign, a cash prize was not foreseen, but the stakes are now very high and Giampiero Ventura’s players have now been provided with extra motivation, as if they needed it.
