James Rodriguez has eye on Barcelona move

Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez is eying up the prospect of moving to Catalan rivals Barcelona, according to Spanish publication Don Balon via The Daily Star.

The Columbian player has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu all summer, having become frustrated with his lack of game time ever since he joined the side from French side Monaco in 2014 for a fee worth around 80 million EUROs.
But since, James has been linked with a move away this summer, with some interested parties by the way of Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Now the 25-year-old, is it thought, wants to move to Real’s biggest rivals Barca. If true, this would surely upset President Florentino Perez, who doesn’t want any of his players to join them club, inserting an ‘anti-Barca’ clause in the professional contract.
The movement of Lukaku to Man United could also open up some space for James, as he could be used as a replacement by Chelsea now they have lost their target.
