Benfica midfielder Javi Garcia has received no offer from Manchester United while Milan are following him closely.

The 25-year-old is expected to leave Portugal in the near future with both clubs strongly interested.

“I can’t say much because I haven’t been contacted yet,” agent Garcia Quillon told TSF. “There are no official offers , just rumours.”

The former Real Madrid player has a contract expiring in 2014 and a release clause set at €30M.

    Roma on Garay

According to Portuguese reports, Roma are interested in Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay.

The player joined Benfica in 2011 but his former club Real Madrid is still eligible for 50% of any future transfer fee.

The Giallorossi are willing to negotiate with Benfica the transfer to the Olimpico although the player has a €20M release clause.

    Juve in for Xabi

Juventus are determined to sign Xabi Alonso from Real Madrid, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.

The Bianconeri have been following the ex Liverpool player since 2008 and would now need an offer in the region of €30M to tempt both Real and the player.

However, it seems highly unlikely that José Mourinho will allow one of his favourite players to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

Miccoli-Palermo: Fabrizio Miccoli is set to extend his deal with the Rosanero following his 400th appearance in Italian football. The player from Lecce has already netted 11 goals this season, 66 overall in his Palermo career with also 11 assists. According to Sky, Miccoli will extend his contract expiring in 2013 by one year.
