José Mourinho accused of tax fraud by Spanish authorities

José Mourinho accused of tax fraud by Spanish authorities

José Mourinho is the last big football personality to be accused of tax fraud by Spanish authorities. Lionel Messi, Javier Mascherano, Alexis Sanchez, Angel Di Maria, Radarmel Falcao and Cristiano Ronaldo, only to name a few, have already experienced problems with Spanish law regarding alleged tax frauds.

José Mourinho allegedly defrauded € 3.3 million during his time in the Spanish capital between 2011 and 2012. Mourinho has been denounced by the Prosecutor's Office, Spanish media said on Tuesday.

Both Manchester United and José Mourinho have failed to comment the news coming from Spanish media so far.

The Special One was appointed as Manchester United boss last summer and has ended his first season in charge of the Red Devils with three trophies: the Charity Shield, the League Cup and the UEFA Europa League which has allowed Manchester United to qualify for Champions League despite finishing with a disappointing sixth placement.
