Gonzalo Higuain has been officially unveiled as a Juventus player at a press-conference at the J Stadium a short while ago.
 

MESSAGE TO NAPOLI – “During the period of finalising my move to Juventus I have remained silent however, I had three wonderful years there, I have nothing else to say but to thank the the people for all the love they gave me. This is a choice that I have made for personal reasons so now I’m just concentrating on the future with Juventus but there is no doubt that they were great towards me. I understand their anger and I have seen some of the insults but this is a choice that I had to do and I’m happy”.  

ON THE CHOICE OF JUVE – “First of all it’s a great team which has a winning mentality. They presented an incredible project and this is one of the things that attracted me here. I must thank Agnelli, Paratici and Marotta for all their efforts and I must now repay their trust in me on the field. We hope to have a great season”.
 

EXPECTATIONS – “It’s a great team as I’ve said; accustomed to winning which is the most important thing. Everyone has heard of Juventus, this is the mentality they have built into the players and these are the fundamental reasons”.  

ON SARRI – “It was my choice to stay silent during my vacation with my friends. I have nothing but kind words to say about him and he was a great coach for me.If he is angry because of this then I’m sorry but I’ve nothing against him, only words of gratitude”.
 

ON DANI ALVES AND THOSE CROSSES – “He’s obviously a great player but Juventus is a great team, an important team from what I’ve seen over many years. It’s a team that fights together with no single player bigger than the collective. This is one of their real strengths”.  

DE LAURENTIIS – “I’ve not had a great rapport with him because his way of thinking was not the same as mine. Only this, I cannot say anymore only that my choice was made because he pushed me to do so. Now I’m happy here and I thank the club for trusting in me”.
 

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE – “I have said that one of the reasons I’m here is to win the Champions League. In life we have to make decisions and I thought this one was the best for me. As I’ve stated, the winning mentality of the club was the main reason I joined”.
 

DYBALA – “Of course I spoke with Paulo as I played with him in the Argentine national team. We have become friends and I hope we can do great things on the pitch together”.  

BONUCCI AND THE DEFENCE – “Obviously the defence of Juve is very strong. I thank him for sending me the message”.
 

THE DEAL AT THE LAST MINUTE – “This is something that you have stated; I’m just concentrating on the new season with Juventus”.
 

THE PRESSURE OF BEING THE HIGHEST PAID SERIE A PLAYER – “It’s a great satisfaction although I was unaware at the time I signed. Now I want to repay the trust by winning many titles and it’s up to me to prove my worth”.
